Closed for the Holidays

   This photo is in honor of the holidays. I believe that holidays should be family-centered as much as possible. So this Christmas holiday regular posting will recommence in January.

Father's Love

   This is one of my favorite pieces to our Christmas Village set - a father helping his little girl skate on a frozen village pond. Others surround them- skaters, carolers, and shoppers, but these two are skating surreally in their own daddy/daughter moment.

The Magic of Ordinary Places

   I would have never thought that such an ordinary muddy pond by our ordinary Baptist church could have turned out like this through the lens. A chilly Sunday morning with a flock of geese settling in for the day and two tiny surprises taking a siesta on their own personal island turned out to look like something out of a storybook.

Pop O' Color :Tiny Wonders

   I find it interesting how even the smallest of creatures can be so detailed, and how something so seemingly insignificant through the camara lens can have it own beauty in the simplest of environments. 

Spark of Inspiration

   Believe it or not, it was an old barn with alot of character that gave me the inspiration for this blog. That spark, and my sister's new Fujifilm camara ignited a passion in me to share my viewpoint with the world. The lens is only a tool used to reveal what your eyes see. Photography is not only for those who own the most fancy equiptment. It is for those with vision. Every bit of creation and man-made structure has shape, color, and character. It is a photographer's job to pull the character from a scene based on his individuality. So take a chance. Don't just "take a picture," "take the character."
